Christmastime Fun

Festivities for Christmas - hope you can brave the snow and enjoy the season.

Head to Stanley Saturday December 21st for a free movie and visit from Santa at the Stanley Theater; showings at 11:30AM and 2:30PM.

Also on Saturday have Breakfast with Santa at the O-W Vets Club in Owen from 8:30AM-11:30AM.

The Christmas Friendship Dinner will be held Wednesday Christmas Day 11AM-1PM at American Legion Post 54 Marshfield. Enjoy ham and turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Reservations are appreciated 715-384-9697.

Hunting and Holiday Fun

Events for Families and Hunters will keep you fed and filled with the joy of the season.

Friday November 22nd is the Annual Deer Hunters Buffet and Gun Raffle at American Legion Post 73 in Neillsville 4PM to 9PM and the 5th Annual Christmas Parade in Thorp.

Friday November 29th Owen is hosting the Downtown Christmas Lighting at 5PM.

Saturday November 30th American Legion Post 73 in Neillsville will be hosting a Deer Hunters Steakfeed 5PM-8PM and Greenwood will hold the Park Tree Lighting at the City Park at Dusk with Santa, sleigh rides and hot chocolate and cider.

Fall Festivals

Summertime may be coming to an end, but that just means it's Fall Festival time!  Visit these events in Clark County for some weekend fall fun.

September 6th-8th is the Granton Fall Festival, the "biggest 'little show' in Wisconsin".  Enjoy the carnival, games, craft show, a flea market, dances, flower show, bed races, mini-rod pull, tractor pull, music, softball tournament, and a mile long parade.  Sponsored by the Granton FFA, the Granton Rotary and the Granton Firemen.

Saturday September 7th is the 8th Annual Street Dance & Car Show on Main Street in Greenwood. See the cars from 10AM to 3PM, and enjoy the music until Midnight. Free inflatables to keep the kids busy and happy. Details here 8th Annual Street Dance & Car Show

Also on September 7th is the Indian Summer Fest in Downtown Owen. From 9AM to Midnight enjoy an arts and crafts fair, a farmers market and flea market, great food, music and more.

Music and Dance

Whether you like to listen to music or get up and dance, you're covered Saturday April 13th!

Dancers can head to the Owen-Withee Fire Department Auxillary Dance from 4PM-Midnight at the Owen City Hall. There will also be a raffle and refreshments.

Listeners can enjoy the Clark County Male Chorus Spring Sing at the Granton Elementary Gym beginning at 7PM.

Don't Stop Giving

Busy Weekend in Clark County

Summer may be gone, but there is still plenty of fun in Clark County.  Check out these events this weekend.

September 7th-9th is the 62nd Annual Granton Fall Festival. Family fun all weekend including a carnival, softball tournament, bed races, flower show, mini rod pull, tractor pull, food and music. Don't miss the Fall Fest Classic Car Cruise Saturday at 5PM or the Mile Long Parade on Sunday.

Saturday September 8th is Indian Summer Fest in Owen. Check out handmade arts and crafts, homemade baked goods, farmers market, flea market, antiques, quilts from 9AM-3PM. 

Also on Saturday is the Greenwood Street Dance and Car Show from 3PM-Midnight.  This is a free event. There will be food and inflatables for the kids.

Sunday September 9th is the Annual Loyal Car and Motorcycle Show in the American Legion parking lot from 10AM-3PM. Entries will receive awards and there will be cash giveaways, a raffle and silent auctions, food, beverages, art show, music and inflatables.

Remember schools are back in session, please watch for buses and school zones.

Sharing at Christmas

Share a meal with old friends and new at the Community Christmas Dinner at the York Center United Methodist Church in the Town of York.  Dinner will be served December 25th beginning at Noon, followed by cards and games.

December 29th share life by giving blood at the Red Cross Blood Drive at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen from 12:30PM to 5:30PM. You can make an appointment on the Red Cross website Blood Donation Appointment but walk-ins are always welcome.

Santa Visits

Santa will again be visiting this weekend at events across the county.

You'll find the Jolly Old Elf at the Greenwood High School Cafeteria from 10AM to Noon.

If you're hungry, have dinner with Santa at the Colby High School starting at 11AM. Admission is a non-perishable food item for the local food pantry.

And Ol' St Nick will also be at the Owen-Withee High School from Noon to 2PM during the Owen-Withee Jaycees Christmas Arts and Craft Show. The show runs from 9AM-2PM so you can get some shopping in before he visits.
