Festival of the Wheel

Dar's Midwest Time Trial Championship (Festival of the Wheel) will be held this Saturday, May 3rd, in Willard. There will be one 16 mile loop bike race for road/mountain/tandem/recumbent bikes and a 7 mile race for roller blades, roller skis, wheel chair, or other non-motorized wheeled devices. Registration begins at 10AM at the Willard Community Center with racing starting at Noon.

Cycling Clinic and Friendly Ride

Whether you are a Century cyclist or not, you'll love this event in Willard April 20th: WISport is hosting a Friendly Century or Less and Cycling Clinic.

Horseback Riding at Wild Rock Park

Bring your horses!  Wild Rock Park and Campground near Willard now has over 41 miles of horseback trail for you to explore.

Don't want to ride alone?  Join the Neillsville Saddle Tramps September 29th and 30th for their annual Fall Family Camp Out Ride.  Everyone is welcome; you will be responsible for your own campground and trail fees.  A potluck is planned for Saturday night. Willard Polka Fest

It's the 38th Annual Willard Polka Fest this weekend - June 29th to July 1st - at the Willard Community Center.

The band line up includes Scott Koehn & The Spotlight Band with Jeff Walker, Richie Yurkovich & Polkarioty,  Gary's Ridgeland Dutchmen, Barefoot Becky, the Keith Gennerman Band, the Zweifel Brothers and Music Connection.  Admission is $6 Friday, $10 Saturday and $9 Sunday.

Festival of the Wheel

Competive bikers - get ready! Be in Willard for the Dar's Midwest Time Trial Championships May 7th. This is a WISport event - Menzel Stage TT #1.

There will be one 16 mile loop bike race for road/mountain/tandem/recumbent bikes and one 7 mile race for roller blades, roller skis, wheel chair, or other non-motorized wheeled devices.

Registration is at 10AM at the Willard Community Center. Racing will begin at Noon race start with a 15-second split between each participant. Helmets are required.

Entry fee is $20 (family rate $15 for 3 or more)- $1.00 per entry goes directly to the Children's Miracle Network and a donation is made to the Dar Vollrath Memorial Scholarship Fund.
