Marshfield for the Birds

Whether you are an Ornithologist, or just someone who is interested in birds, you will find something to hold your interest at the at the Marshfield Public Library.

The Stierle Bird Exhibit contains approximately 140 species of birds, and over 2000 eggs.

Regular hours are 9-9 Monday-Friday, 9-5 Saturday, and 1-5 Sunday. Summer hours Memorial Day through Labor Day) are 9-8 Monday-Friday and 9-5 Saturday (closed Sunday).

Neillsville Winter Carnival

Fun Fact - Most Cows in Clark County

Clark County- MyFox Wausau - Some new numbers show northcentral Wisconsin is a leader in agriculture.
Clark County was home to the most cows in Wisconsin. The National Agricultural Statistics Service says 63,000 cows lived on Clark County farms last year. That's 500 more than second place Marathon County.
Shawano County also made the top ten list for most cows in the state.
Marathon County produced the most milk in 2008. Farmers produced nearly 1.2 billion lbs.
Clark County ranked second for most milk produced.
Wisconsin produced nearly 24.5 billion lbs. of milk last year.
