Another Great Weekend of Fun

Lots of Family Fun in Clark County this weekend - just look at all these events!

June 24th - 26th Willard Annual Polka FestWillard Community Center
Dance all weekend to some great polka bands. Just $6/Friday 6:30PM-10:30PM, $10/Saturday 11AM-11PM, and $9/Sunday Noon-6PM. Campsites are available near festival.

June 24th - 26th Willard 6th Annual Historical Society Rummage Fest
Willard West Side Hall
Rummage, baked goods, crafts, plants. Friday and Saturday 8AM-4PM, Sunday 9AM-Noon.

June 25th Thorp Lions Club Demolition Derby
Northside Park, Thorp
Demo derby begins at Noon.

June 26th Greenwood Dairy Breakfast
Gary & Brenda Lindner Farm, W4414 Spencer Rd, Loyal
Serving scrambled eggs, pancakes, potato pancakes, sausage, cheese, cheese curds, ice cream, applesauce, drink. 7AM-1PM.

June 26th Colby Dairy Breakfast
Ron Gutenberger Farm, W374 County Road N, Colby.
7AM-Noon. You can park at Colby High School and ride a shuttle to the farm.

June 26th Annual Park Picnic
Granton Communtiy Park
Delicious Roast Beef Dinner 11AM.

June 17th-19th Festivals

It's going to be a fun-filled weekend in Clark County!

You can head out to the 51st Dorchester Days and see a Wisconsin State Championship tractor pull, mini-rod pull and truck pull. They will also be hosting a carnival, softball and horseshoe tournament, kiddie parade, street dance and a wonderful charcoal chicken dinner on Sunday.

This weekend is also Withee Days. Friday the fun starts at 6PM, Saturday at Noon and Sunday at 11AM. Food and entertainment all weekend, and a softball tournament at Withee Fairgrounds and Ballpark. The Withee Days Parade on Sunday.

Museums in Clark County

If you are a history buff, or like to revisit the past, Clark County has several museums showing life as it was.

These museums are only open during the summer months, so take some time on the weekend to discover Wisconsin's roots.

The 1897 Clark County Jail Museum - 215 East 5th Street, Neillsville.
This is a beautiful "castle-like" house filled with Victorian furnishings, that was the home to the Sheriff with a 3 story cell block attached to the house. Open Sundays from 1PM-4PM or by appointment. 1897 Clark County Jail

The Reed School - US Hwy 10 and Cardinal Ave, Neillsville.
A one room school house from the early 1900s. Open weekends from 10AM-4PM. Reed School

The Rural Arts Museum - Colby.
This museum houses a the original Colby train depot, as well as the history of Colby cheese and much more. Open Sundays Memorial Day to Labor Day and by appointment.

Bransitter Museum - 600 South Main Street, Greenwood.
Step back in time and walk down the wooden sidewalks through life in 1900. Many collections of toys, tools and photographs. Open Dairy Days Sunday, then the first Sunday of June, July and August. Bransitter Museum

Railroad Museum, Loyal.
The history of the Village of Loyal. Open the first Sunday of July, August, and September and Sunday of Loyal Corn Fest or by appointment. The Old Depot

Tuft's Mansion Museum - 26 Hewett Street, Neillsville.
This beautiful home is not only a museum but a Bed and Breakfast. Open Sundays 2PM-4PM. Tuft's Mansion

Stanley Area Historical Society Museum - 228 Helgerson Street, Stanley.
You can find the history of Clark Counties Northwestern Townships. Open Saturdays and Sundays until Labor Day, Sundays only in September. Stanley History
